I am a blind, autistic, ADHD disabled adult turning 42 on June 21, 2026. I am raising funds for medical care, housing stability, transportation, documentation, and basic survival needs after decades of childhood-onset medical harm and chronic housing insecurity.
I must leave my current place by June 15. My first need is safe housing. If housing is not secured in time, I also need a portable battery, pure sine-wave inverter, and solar panel system so I can keep my primary computer, phone, communications, and disability-support tools running.
I have spent most of my adult life trying to survive medical, housing, and financial instability that began when I was a child.
When I was 10, in 1994, I experienced a medical crisis after choking and aspiration led to severe throat injury and prolonged treatment. I was given sodium propofol for 10 days, off label, during a period of childhood development. After that period, my sleep, dreaming, body, and health changed in ways I have spent decades trying to understand and stabilize.
I later developed serious eye complications, including pupil dysfunction and angular glaucoma. I am also autistic and ADHD, and I am a third-generation DES son, which adds further complexity to my medical history.
By age 12, in November 1995, I was reading NIH/PubMed research to understand growth, sleep, hormones, and development because I had no effective advocate. I knew some of the basic supports I needed, but I could not access them as a child.
I was unusually informed and resourceful from childhood, but intelligence did not replace the support, medical follow-up, housing stability, nutrition, and advocacy I needed while my body was still developing.
Around age 17 or 18, I was effectively expected to fend for myself. I have been chronically homeless or housing-insecure for much of my adult life, except for a more stable period around 2016 to 2020 or 2021, when I eventually sold my land just to keep going.
Any help gives me time, safety, and room to keep fighting for a future.
My immediate priority is safe housing before June 15, 2026. If that is not secured in time, portable battery and solar power will preserve access to my primary computer, phone, communications, research, benefits work, and disability-support tools. Donations will also go toward medical and eye care, transportation, documentation, basic living costs, and the practical steps needed to keep me safe while I pursue longer-term support.
Sharing this page also helps. Even a small amount of reach can make a material difference when someone has been carrying a medical and housing crisis mostly alone.
